We publish these reports in full, exactly as they were issued on their dates. Some of the technical survey work is still under way, so this library will keep growing as further reports are completed.
These reports set out the wildlife and habitats on the site and how the scheme will protect and improve them. This survey work is still under way. Our bat surveys, the most recent on 24 September 2026, have confirmed a roost in one of the two large trees on the site, and we will take full account of it as the surveys continue and the design develops. Each document below reflects the position at the time it was written, and we will publish further ecology reports here as they are completed.

Urban Edge Environmental Consulting
A baseline survey of the wildlife and habitats on the site, drawing on local wildlife records and a site visit in spring 2026. It considers protected species including bats, reptiles, badger, hedgehog, otter and water vole, and sets out the further surveys to be carried out and the protections that would apply during construction.

Urban Edge Environmental Consulting
A plan showing how the habitats across the site have been classified for the biodiversity assessment. The scheme is required to leave the site at least 10 per cent better for biodiversity than it is today, and this map is the baseline that the improvement is measured against.

We may not be able to reflect every comment, but we want to hear all of them. The more we understand what matters to you, the better the scheme can be for this location.
